Publish What You Fund believes that the availability of comprehensive, timely and comparable information on aid is a prerequisite for effective development. Therefore we are developing a global standard on aid information disclosure focussing on the aid transparency of our Targets.

Our Principles have provided a platform for promoting greater transparency of aid, and have brought together the perspectives of those working on the promotion of government integrity and right of access to information.

Our activities centre on:

• Undertaking professional outreach and advocacy specifically with our targets: U.S., EU, World Bank, and IATI;

• Producing evidence and publishing briefing papers on aid transparency;

• Exploring and piloting IT tools to help people use aid information;

• Building an enduring understanding of the importance of donors publishing what they fund.
