UK and European aid event

By Katie Welford | Nov 30, 2012 | Events, News

Publish What You Fund, UKAN and Bond invite you to attend an event on UK and European aid:

Assessing progress on transparency and effectiveness one year after Busan

Thursday 6 December, 5.15pm – 7.30pm, Church House (map)

It’s been one year since the High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF4) in Busan, when the world’s most prominent development actors committed to a new global partnership for effective development cooperation and agreed to publish their aid information by 2015.

Join a discussion on UK and European progress in 2012, hear the findings of the AidWatch special report of EU development effectiveness, and results of this year’s Aid Transparency Index.

Moderator
Owen Barder, Director for Europe, Centre for Global Development

Keynote address
Justine Greening, Secretary of State Dept for International Development

David Hall-Matthews, Managing Director, Publish What You Fund
Amy Dodd, Coordinator, UK Aid Network
Liz Ditchburn, Director Value for Money, DFID
