The Fourth EITI Global Conference
(Doha, Qatar) – Today, the fourth Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) global conference ended. EITI aims to reduce secrecy in the sector, and has signed up 26 countries in just two years.

(USA) – Recovery.gov today launches as the means of tracking spending on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Publish What You Fund welcomes this move as the domestic version of what we’re asking for internationally, on transparency of aid.
