On Thursday 7th October the World Bank launched the ‘Apps for Development’ competition. The competition aims to bring together the best ideas from tech developers and development practitioners to create innovative apps using World Bank data.

AidInfo have launched their new website, a great resource for information on aid transparency.
The site is broken into sections according to AidInfo’s main areas of work; in policy, data and technology. In each section you can browse opinions, reports and news that relates to your interests. The site includes a library of all AidInfo reports and case studies to date, with a glossary of common terms and acronyms. There is also a calendar tracking national and international meetings where aid transparency may play a part.
