IDB plans for IATI implementation

The Inter-American Development Bank, the largest source of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean, released a detailed plan of how it intends to meet the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) standard for aid publication.

As part of their Busan commitment to transparency and accountability, IDB will make public activity level info on a quarterly basis, including project documents and whether conditions are attached. This will allow better tracking of what aid is used for and who benefits from aid. For their full implementation schedule, visit IATI website.
