President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan said on Friday 3^rd September 2010 that aid transparency is still critical to the effective delivery of assistance to flood victims. The President also urged that this information be put online to achieve “total transparency in foreign aid”.

Aid information available to all online will not only increase the effective allocation of resources, but will help to answer many questions about where funds are going. We hope that the calls for aid transparency will be met with further attempts to put the data online in formats accessible to decision makers and members of the public alike.
