UK leadership on aid transparency at MDGs
On 20th September, the first day of the MDG Summit in New York, Andrew Mitchell, UK Minister for International Development showed his intention to lead the world on aid transparency.
Addressing the summit Mitchell said – "Now is the time for other countries to step up and keep their promises too. We will push for that – and I will push for all aid to be more transparent and more accountable."
We are glad to see UK leadership on aid transparency and look forward to other countries agreeing and effective international Standard this December.
