At the World Bank today, Publish What You Fund will participate in an event about the progress made towards implementing the Busan Partnership.

Hosted by Oxfam, the session will explore how to ensure the groundwork laid there will lead to better development impact, particularly with the global monitoring framework to be agreed upon in June.

The event coincides with research published by Oxfam and others this week, which provides new data as to how important keeping score is for driving political change.

The research shows how keeping score on implementation of the Paris Declaration helped push implementation of Paris principles, while a review conducted by the OECD indicated the global monitoring system was a success in motivating policy changes in donor capitals.
