On December 20, the U.S. and Canada joined 25 other international donors in releasing their Busan common standard implementation schedules, outlining their plans for publishing aid information to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) Registry.

The U.S. Implementation Schedule, a key component of the United States government’s commitment to IATI, contains a timetable for publication of individual information items specified by the IATI standard, along with plans for extending coverage of U.S. official development assistance (ODA) and improving the frequency of publication. The schedule is not disaggregated by agency so it is not specified when individual agencies will comply with more information fields.

New information has also been published to the Foreign Assistance Dashboard in the IATI format. This data includes 2009 and 2010 OECD CRS data and some preliminary 2012 data for MCC and USAID. The information is grouped by recipient country or region. In addition, forward looking budget request data has been published for those agencies already publishing to the Foreign Assistance Dashboard: the Department of State, MCC and USAID.

Canada’s implementation schedule covers the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). It contains detailed plans for gradual compliance with almost all fields in the IATI standard.
