New Zealand, an original signature to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), has started to publish new aid data to the common standard.

New Zealand originally published in XML for the first time in May 2012, but have been working to improve their data since.  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT)  have now published new IATI compliant files for the New Zealand Aid Programme’s activities in the Cook Islands, Tokelau & Tuvalu.

We look forward to seeing the publication expanded and made more frequent over the coming months.

Combined with the World Bank, the European Commission and AusAid already publishing to IATI, we are gaining more comparable and timely information about aid activities in the Pacific region.
