Publish What You Fund is a charity campaigning for increased aid transparency, and is responsible for this website and its contents. Together with an alliance of other non-governmental organisations, Publish What You Fund is also part of a joint campaign entitled “Make Aid Transparent” and has primary responsibility for the day-to-day operation of this campaign.

This Privacy Policy explains how we use, disclose and manage the personal information we collect from you by mail, in person, through our website, and through third party websites that contain Publish What You Fund forms.

You may choose to provide Publish What You Fund with personal information, such as your name, email address or telephone number. If you do so, we may choose to add you to our mailing list for updates on our work. You can unsubscribe from this mailing list at any point by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ or contacting us (see below). Publish What You Fund’s mailing list is administered by Mail Chimp.

If you sign up to the campaign we will ask you to provide your first name, surname, email address and geographical location. By providing the above information you agree to be registered with us as a supporter of the campaign and to be included in our mailing list.

You also agree to the inclusion of your personal information in mailing lists maintained by other organisations that are part of the campaign

Your information will be:

  • used to send you communications associated with the campaign and similar charitable causes
  • deleted when you tell us that you would like this information removed

We may use the personal information you provide on the Publish What You Fund website for internal purposes, such as for website administration, data analytics (provided by Google Analytics) and compliance purposes.

Publish What You Fund may share your personal information with other organisations that are part of the campaign. We may also share the information with service providers, who will be authorised to act only under our instructions or to comply with legal obligations. In addition, we may disclose information about you to comply with our legal obligations.

You have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your personal information, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law, by using the contact information set below. You can also opt out of receiving communications from us in the same way. Please allow at least twenty-eight (28) days for communications to cease and for your details to be removed from our mailing lists.
