Data Use

In April 2017, we met with donors, government officials and CSO representatives in Benin and Tanzania to explore what happens at the country-level once development data is published: who is interested in using it, how and what for? If the data is not being used, what are the obstacles and how can they be overcome?

Our published discussion paper highlighted key findings of this scoping work. The Executive Summary has also been translated into French.

This is an area of work that we are continuing to build on. You can stay up to date via our blog posts on data use.
