At the beginning of August, the BMZ launched a redesigned website, offering guests an insight into the workings of German development policy. Accessible to all, the design is user-friendly and in both German and English.
The new platform will be developed further during the next few months, with additional functions being added. The German only service “DirektZu” can be used to submit questions to the Development Minister Dirk Niebel. Other interactive elements will be added to the website over the next few months, offering a platform for civil society engagement in development policy.
A good move in increasing citizen engagement and involvement, and government accountability.
