Sweden have become the ninth donor agency to publish their aid information to the International Aid Transparency Initiative Registry, fulfilling their promise to do so before the fourth High Level Forum in Busan at the end of November 2011.

Sweden is a strong supporter of aid transparency, having launched its own aid transparency guarantee under its Open Aid initiative in April 2011. The government should now work to ensure that other donor governments show the same commitment to aid transparency at the meeting in just under a week’s time.
