Publish What You Fund today welcomed a new director, Dr David Hall-Matthews.

Dr. Hall-Matthews comes from an academic background, having lectured in international development at the University of Leeds. He has also taught at LSE, SOAS and Oxford University and worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Administration of Relief in New Delhi.

Karin Christiansen, the outgoing director, said:

“David brings with him the perfect combination of technical rigour and political insight, and we have spent much time discussing priorities for Publish What You Fund going forward.”

Ms Christiansen, one of the founders of Publish What You Fund, will sit on the board from September.
