A step-by-step guide to IATI publication

By Katie Welford | Sep 8, 2014 | Blog

Last week, the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) technical team published a series of guidance videos to help organisations looking to publish their aid information.

Even if you are an old-pro when it comes to all things aid transparency, I recommend visiting the IATI channel to check them out.

IATIyoutubeThe videos walk through the whole process of data publication, addressing a variety of support issues that publishers regularly approach the team with.

They also provide explanations and descriptions of some of the fields and technical terms – which is a great resource for all first time publishers trying to get their heads around the IATI lingo!

There is a playlist of videos explaining the step-by-step process of using the publishing tool AidStream, and others for general use, including creating a Registry account and generating an IATI Organisation Identifier.

Of course publishers are still welcome to contact the IATI technical team at support@iatistandard.org – but hopefully these videos can provide a helpful first port of call!
