Saudi Arabia, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre
Overview
Saudi Arabia established the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) in 2015 as the country’s principal external humanitarian body. KSrelief has provided humanitarian and development assistance in more than 100 countries. Saudi Arabia reports its aid flows to the OECD Creditor Reporting System. KSrelief first published IATI data in November 2019.
This agency chose not to participate in the 2026 Aid Transparency Index accreditation process. It has been included so that the Index continues to rank and apply advocacy pressure to the world’s largest aid and development agencies. It was subject to the same assessment and scoring approach as those agencies which participated in the accreditation process. More details of the approach are given in the FAQs section. Publish What You Fund only provides a full profile, including recommendations and a detailed breakdown of indicator scores, for those agencies that have undergone the full accreditation process.
