Talking Aid Transparency with Shahana Hayat

By Sam Cavenett | Jun 19, 2020 | Case studies

“Aid transparency based on sharing accurate, timely, comprehensive and comparable data is really important. It should be a non-negotiable commitment.”

In the lead up to the launch of the 2020 Aid Transparency Index, Publish What You Fund’s CEO Gary Forster talks to Shahana Hayat of Christian Aid in Bangladesh about her experience of using aid data, why aid transparency matters and the role of trust and engagement. Join the launch of the 2020 Aid Transparency Index on Wednesday 24 June 2020 here.

Due to the poor video quality during the latter half of the interview, we opted to switch Shahana’s video for a picture. This way we could keep the focus on Shahana’s remarks through the audio recording.
